Stability studies could provide evidence to determine if/how the quality of drug substances and drug products might be altered over time under the influence of various environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, light, and agitation/shaking. Stability studies could help establish a scientific foundation for packaging, storage, and transportation conditions of drug products, as well as for the shelf life.
